Indonesian Rottweiler Club (known as “Klub Rottweiler Indonesia” or “KRI”) was established on the 20th November 1999 at Mega Mendung Villa, Cipayung by the devoted fans and enthusiasts of Rottweiler dogs.

The founders of KRI actively manage the organization since it has been established in 1999. The agreement is to form an independent and autonomous Rottweiler Club in Indonesia.

KRI has been recognized by Perkin (The All Indonesia Kennel Club) since its first establishment and in 1997 obtained international recognition from Allgemeiner Deutsche Rottweiler Club (ADRK – Germany) and Internationale Federation Der Rottweiler Freunde (IFR).

KRI based upon the principles of Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution aims to maintain and develop Indonesian Rottweiler by encouraging and promoting quality breeding of pure-bred Rottweiler, improving their qualities and character and at the same time assembles the devoted fans and enthusiasts of Rottweiler dogs under one recognized organization for the purpose of fostering a loving relationship between the owner and their dogs.
