According to FCA and FCI Rules (FILE attached
As a Summary, it is required the age from 1 year up to 10. Dogs borne since 2011 must have hip X Ray, we are still working on that regulation.
Conditions to obtain pedigrees :
Pedigrees are isued by the Cynologic Argentine Federation (FCA)
The Cynologic Argentine Federation gives the pedigrees only when the parent-dogs have a pedigree too. They don`t have control about the breeding.
The club decided to implement the “Able to breed” (ZTP).
The Argentine Federation issues only one kind of pedigree.
The Federation is affiliated to the F.C.I.
.
What conditions ? (HD / ED / breedsuitability test …)
We have a new project from the Club and approved by the FCA, dogs borne since 2011 must show a hip x-ray to breed. We are working in a project to ask the ZTP as obligatory too, up to date is optional.

Littercontrols
The club can control the litter to verify that the puppies has no disqualifications like white patches, faults in the dentitions, long hair, ... . If the club finds any disqualification faults, it will communicate to the Federation Cinologica Argentina in order not to extend a pedigree.

Legislation
Dogrelated legislation in Argentina
There is no national legislation on the keeping of dogs. There are only some local regulations and these are mostly about the condition in which the dogs must be kept when taken outside their owners house. |
