Pedigrees

Pedigrees are isued by the Cynologic Argentine Federation (FCA)

The Cynologic Argentine Federation gives the pedigrees only when the parent-dogs have a pedigree   too.   They don`t have control about the breeding.

The club decided to implement the “Able to breed” (ZTP), and the dogs must show the x-ray free from dysplasia.

The Argentine Federation issues only one kind of pedigree.

Dogrelated legislation in Argentina

There is no national legislation on the keeping of dogs.   There are only some local regulations and these are mostly about the condition in which the dogs must be kept when taken outside their owners house.

Activities.

The Club promotes the use of the Rottweiler in Sports.   We have organized working trials and seminars. One of the members of the council ( Dr. Julio Salinas ) completed a 2 year Teorical-Practical Seminar with final examination, organized by the Sport Comisión of the FCA in order to become a  working Judge, and he is recognized by the FCA. We promote: obedience, BH, AD, IPO, Sch.H.

Championtitles

The Club has a ranking in wich the dogs receive points in order to his ubication in each categorie and the number of dogs he defeats at the shows. At the end of the year the club gives awards to the best 3 dogs in the puppy , young and adult categories. We dont have yet a Klubsieger title. The Club gives the CAC in order to become a National Champion.

The club also has a working ranking and gives awards to the first 3 dogs in each categorie of working trials.

To obtain the National Champion Title a dog must have 20 points of CAC, 2 of this CAC must be  CAC of more than 4 or 5 points, the points of the CAC are in relation with the dogs present in the show. The CAC scale is:

                           1-5 dogs:       1 point

                           6-13 dogs:     2 points

                           14 -22 dogs:  3 points

                           23- 32 dogs:  4 points

                           + 32 dogs :     5 points

This CAC can be obtained in the specializad shows of the Club or in the general all breed shows organized by the FCA.

We don´t have yet national judges recognizad as breed specialists by the Club. This is a main issue for the  CLUB , next year, we will organize a seminar for attendants to be a judge, we are very interested in having the support of the IFR in the organization and development of the contents of the seminar, and perhaps in finding some way to have some advice in order to the organization of it.

The next issues are the regulations of the ranking and the categories in the specialized shows:
